Course A Requirements
You must complete the Course A requirement regardless of which benefits you're applying for. If you've already completed this course, you do not need to retake it.
Course A: Online Course: History of the Disability Rights Movement
Course A: "History of the disability rights movement", is a free online course you can sign up for and take any time through DirectCourse.
- To complete course A
- Log into your DirectCourse account or create a DirectCourse account if you do not already have one.
- Select the "eLearning" menu and click on "Self Enrollment".
- Find or search for the "DHS - MN DSW Stipend/Enhanced Rate" module, and select "Enroll".
- Select the course named "CDS: Civil Rights and Advocacy: History of the Disability Rights Movement" within the module.
- Once you have added the module, go back to the "eLearning" menu, and click "My eLearning Lessons".
- Select the name of the lesson you want to take, a popup will appear, and then select "Start the Lesson".
- Once you have completed the course, you can find your transcript by clicking the "Home" tab. Then scroll down to where it says, "Click to View" section and click "Transcript".
